Ngoc Dieu Linh Vi is a Lecturer in Economics at Aston University's Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham and teaches courses including Trading Strategies and Introduction to Finance. Her research spans labour economics, public economics, and behavioural economics with recent work on charitable donation behaviors and web scraping methodologies.
Research investigates how salience effects influence charitable giving via SMS donations and develops techniques for economic data collection through web scraping. Current projects examine gender differences in labor market outcomes and local crime's impact on prosocial behaviors.
