Nejla Ademović is a Researcher at the Department of Neurobiology, Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" (IBISS), affiliated with the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Biology. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Biomedical Sciences (Biology program) from the State University in Novi Pazar (2018, 2019) and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Molecular Biology of Eukaryotes since 2019.
- M.Sc. in Biomedicine and Biology Professor modules (2019)
- Research Assistant at State University in Novi Pazar (2018/19)
- Employed at IBISS since 2022
Research Focus: Her work investigates glioblastoma and astrocytoma - aggressive brain tumors with low survival rates. She studies genomic instability, mutation detection in relevant genes, and molecular markers to advance understanding of tumor progression mechanisms. She also explores triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) through mutation analysis in carcinogenic pathways.
Professional Affiliations: Member of the Serbian Society for Molecular Biology, Serbian Society of Cancer Researchers, and European Association for Cancer Research. Her research contributes to cancer biology and neurobiology domains.
