Teodora Komazec

Teodora Komazec is a Researcher at the Department of Immunology, Institute for Biological Research 'Siniša Stanković' – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, affiliated with the University of Belgrade. She contributes to the PRISMA (ADVANCED) program funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and a bilateral cooperation project with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

• Education: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Physiology, and Immunobiology from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade (2019, 2020).
• Research Focus: Cancer biology, tumor immunology, pharmacological testing of compounds (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, platinum(IV) conjugates, nanoparticles), melanoma models, and molecular signaling pathways in cancer.
• Memberships: Serbian Society of Cancer Researchers (SDIR), European Association for Cancer Research (EARC), Serbian Society for Molecular Biology (MolBioS), Club of Serbian Young Immunologists (KMIS), Young European Federation of Immunologists (yEFIS), Serbian Biochemical Society (BDS), Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), and Serbian Society for Immunology, Molecular Oncology and Regenerative Medicine (SDIOR).

Her work involves integrating molecular oncology with immunology to explore therapeutic responses in tumor microenvironments, supported by interdisciplinary collaborations and institutional research programs.
