Dr. Dijana Bovan is a Research Associate at the Institute for Biological Research 'Siniša Stanković' in Belgrade, Serbia, affiliated with the Department of Immunology. She earned her degree in Molecular Biology and Physiology from the University of Belgrade (2013) and completed her PhD in Molecular Oncology in 2020. Her research focuses on experimental oncology and immuno-oncology, particularly molecular mechanisms of antitumor agents like tubugi 1 in melanoma models.
She has participated in international collaborations through the Erasmus+ program (Leipzig, 2018) and bilateral projects with Germany (2015-2017) and China (2018-2021). Currently, she contributes to the Science Fund of Serbia’s PRISMA program (ADVANCED). Her work includes cancer biology, tumor cell differentiation, and therapy development.

- Stanka Romac Award (2021) for outstanding doctoral thesis
