Neil Weisensel

Neil Weisensel is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), known for co-creating the Indigenous opera Li Keur, Riel's Heart of the North with Métis poet and scholar Dr. Suzanne Steele. The opera reimagines the life of Louis Riel and emphasizes Indigenous languages and reconciliation.
