Neil Ketchley is a Professor of Politics at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations and a Fellow of St Antony's College, where he is also a member of the Middle East Centre. His research focuses on social movements, collective protest, and political violence in the Arabic-speaking Middle East and North Africa. Methodologically, he specializes in innovative data generation techniques, including spatial and textual analysis.
He is the author of *Egypt in a Time of Revolution* (Cambridge University Press, 2017), which won the Charles Tilly Distinguished Contribution to Scholarship Award.
