Neema Mori

Neema Mori is a Researcher at the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Dar es Salaam, and a PhD in International Management from the University of Agder in Norway. Her research focuses on microfinance, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and small business development in Tanzania.

Dr. Mori's work addresses critical barriers to SME growth, particularly access to affordable long-term finance, and explores underdeveloped equity financing opportunities in developing economies. Her PhD thesis investigated the influence of boards and stakeholders in corporate governance of East African microfinance institutions.
