Nedim Hogic is a Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Law, affiliated with the Department of Public and International Law. His work focuses on corruption, the rule of law, EU law, international law, negotiation strategies, and Western Balkans politics. He holds a Ph.D. from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, an LLM from Harvard Law School, and an LLB from the University of Sarajevo.
His research interrogates judicial responses to corruption, including anti-corruption campaigns in Italy, Brazil, and Romania. He explores the intersection of security and corruption as a national security concern, and analyzes the EU's influence on Western Balkans governance. Hogic co-designed constitutional amendments for Bosnia and Herzegovina and contributed to Transparency Index (T-Index) projects measuring government transparency. He is affiliated with the Research Group on International Law and the Global Challenges to Human Rights research initiative.
Hogic has collaborated with international organizations such as USAID, OSCE, ODIHR, and the Westminster Foundation, focusing on party funding monitoring and parliamentary reform in North Macedonia and Montenegro. He serves on the International Republican Institute's Task Force on the Western Balkans and has reviewed for Freedom House.
