Neda Bogdanovic

Neda Bogdanovic is a Researcher at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, specializing in Ecology and Environmental Protection. She has held her current Research Associate position since 2021 after serving as a Research Intern from 2018 to 2021.

Dr. Bogdanovic's research centers on wildlife conservation with specialized expertise in movement ecology of large mammals and herpetofauna. Her work integrates spatial analysis and field studies to examine habitat fragmentation, human-wildlife conflicts, and infrastructure impacts on vulnerable species including brown bears and amphibians across Balkan ecosystems. She employs GPS tracking and spatio-temporal modeling to develop conservation strategies for endangered populations in human-altered landscapes.

Her current research focuses on brown bear movement corridors in the Central Balkans while maintaining active involvement in amphibian and reptile conservation projects addressing road mortality and habitat connectivity issues. She contributes to the Faculty of Biology's environmental monitoring initiatives through fieldwork and data analysis.
