Neboјša Mitrović

Prof. Dr. Neboјša Mitrović is a Full Professor at the Department of Physics and Materials, Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, University of Kragujevac. His academic journey includes a BSc in Semiconductor Physics (1988), MSc in Physics and Technology of Amorphous Materials (1993), and a PhD (1999) focusing on structural transformations in amorphous magnetic materials. He has held roles from assistant to full professor since 2008.

His research centers on amorphous and nanocrystalline magnetic materials, sensor physics, and applied material science. He has authored over 100 scientific/professional works, including 35 in top journals (h=7, 120+ citations). Key international collaborations include projects with institutions like IFW-Dresden, China’s Institute of Physics, and Slovak University of Technology.

Awarded by the Serbian Ministry of Science (2002, 2004) and the City of Čačak (2005), he has coordinated EU-funded projects and organized international conferences like ETRAN and YUCOMAT. His work emphasizes fundamental-to-applied research, with contributions to bulk metallic glasses, soft magnetic alloys, and sensor technologies.

He has advised three master’s theses and reviewed for journals like Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials. Professional memberships include IEEE, Serbian Society for Materials, and ETRAN.
