Jelena Orelj is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics and Materials, Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. She has worked at the faculty since 2017 and is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the module 'Modern Materials and Technologies in Electrical Engineering' under the DAS ERI study program.
- Education: Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. 2011, Banja Luka), Materials Science (M.Sc. 2015, Čačak)
Research Focus: She specializes in the development of sensors using amorphous and nanocrystalline magnetically soft materials. Her work explores magnetoimpedance effects, magnetic permeability estimation, and sensor design for applications in mechatronics, communication systems, and process monitoring.
Recent Publications: Her recent research (2021-2024) centers on magnetic sensor elements, frequency behavior analysis of amorphous wires, and characterization of magnetically soft/semi-hard materials, with a focus on CoFeSiB alloys and electromagnetic modeling.
Teaching: She teaches subjects including Sensors, Smart Sensor Systems, Optoelectronic Systems in Mechatronics, and Modern Communication Systems.
