University of Kragujevacمعرفی
Full Professor Nebojša Mitrović (born October 8, 1962, Čačak) serves in the Department of Physics and Materials at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Kragujevac. With a career spanning since 1989, he progressed from trainee assistant to full professor in 2008 after completing his doctoral dissertation on structural transformations in amorphous magnetic materials at TF Čačak in 1999.
His research focuses on physics and technology of amorphous magnetic materials and sensorics, with particular expertise in bulk metallic glasses, magnetic softening techniques, and sensor applications. International collaborations include significant work with IFW-Dresden (Germany), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Slovak University of Technology.
Professor Mitrović has published approximately 150 scientific works including 65 SCI journal papers (h=14, ~450 Scopus citations) and 90 conference presentations. His publication trends show sustained contributions to magnetic materials science with emphasis on amorphous alloys and sensor development since the late 1990s.
- MNTR RS award to young doctors of science (2002)
- Award of the Ministry of the Interior of the RS for basic research (2004)
- Award of the city of Čačak for scientific research team (2005)
He has supervised 7 PhD dissertations and 5 Master's theses while coordinating numerous research projects including seven fundamental and three developmental projects funded by Serbia's Ministry of Science. His international project leadership includes Soft Magnetic Bulk Amorphous Alloys (2000-2001), Bulk Amorphous Soft Magnets (2003), and Magneto PIM (2007-2010) with FFG-CIRCE II Austria.
Professor Mitrović maintains active laboratory collaborations through the Department of Physics and Materials, particularly in amorphous alloy research and sensor development, with frequent participation in EUROMAT, INTERMAG, and YUCOMAT conferences.
