Nazneen Khan is a Professor of Sociology at Randolph-Macon College, Ashland, Virginia. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and a graduate certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland (2011), an MS in Sociology from Brigham Young University (2004), and a BS in Psychology from Brigham Young University (2001).

Research and Teaching intersect at the crossroads of U.S. families, childhood, and motherhood, employing intersectional theory to analyze racial, economic, and political formations. Her work includes co-editing Fifty Key Scholars in Black Social Thought (Routledge, 2024) and authoring COVID-19 and Childhood Inequality (Routledge, 2022).
