Naveen Joseph

Naveen Joseph is an Assistant Professor of Geospatial Science at Radford University. He holds a Master's in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering from IIT Madras, India, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Hydrology and Water Resources from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Idaho Water Resources Research Institute.

His research focuses on the interplay between human activities, geospatial environments, and public health. Key themes include large-scale water resources modeling, pesticide contamination impacts, and environmental justice. He employs geospatial datasets, statistical tools, and hydrological models to address water scarcity, quality, and health outcomes at regional and national scales.
