Nathaniel Baum-Snow is an Associate Professor of Economic Analysis and Policy at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He serves as managing editor of the Journal of Urban Economics.
His research focuses on urban and real estate economics, labor economics, and economic geography. Specific investigations include spatial organization of economic activity in U.S. and Chinese cities, wage dispersion patterns in larger urban centers, and welfare impacts of transportation infrastructure investments on urban development.
