Joel Baum is a Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He serves on the editorial board of Strategic Management Journal and is founding co-editor of Strategic Organization. His research examines patterns of competition and cooperation across diverse sectors including biotechnology, investment banking, and cellular agriculture.
