Nathan Prebonick

Nathan Prebonick is an Assistant Professor – Fixed Term in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at Michigan State University. He teaches Printmaking and Foundations within the College of Arts and Letters. His artistic practice focuses on painting and printmaking, with expertise in Drawing, Color & Design, and techniques like Etching and Lithography.

Education: BFA from the University of Akron Myers School of Art (2016), MFA from Rhode Island School of Design (2019). Prior to MSU, he served as an adjunct professor at both institutions. His work has been exhibited in major cities including Akron, Cleveland, Boston, Providence, and New York City.

Awards and recognition include features in Saatchi Art’s Rising Stars, New American Paintings, and Studio Visit Magazine. His career emphasizes both creative practice and pedagogy in visual arts.
