Nathan Haenlein serves as Professor of Art Studio and Department Chair at Sonoma State University's Department of Art within the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts. His teaching portfolio includes courses in lithography, printmaking, painting, and drawing at all levels.
Professor Haenlein holds an MFA and MA from the University of Iowa and a BFA from the University of Toledo. He guides students through foundational techniques to advanced studio practice, including BFA portfolio development.
Through his leadership as department chair, Haenlein supports comprehensive arts education and studio development within the university's visual arts program.
