Nathan Perry is a Lecturer in the Department of History at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), part of the College of Liberal Arts. His expertise spans Early Modern England, European Thought, and the History of Science, with a focus on political, religious, and cultural intersections. He teaches courses on Western Civilization, World History, and the Scientific Revolution.

Research focuses on Jacobean court ceremonies as political tools, with a current project expanding his dissertation: The Politics of Spectacle: Ideology and Ambition in Jacobean Court Ceremonies. Recent publications include an analysis of royal ceremonial rituals in The Court Historian (2021).
