Nathan Hammer is a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Mississippi's College of Liberal Arts. He serves as the Margaret McLean Coulter Professor of Chemistry and coordinates the department’s ACS-certified B.S. Chemistry degree and undergraduate research programs.
Research Interests:
- Experimental and theoretical studies of non-covalent interactions
- Advanced spectroscopic techniques for material characterization
- Development of ultrafast and single-molecule spectroscopy methods
- Integration of computational chemistry with experimental analysis
