Nathan Freier is a Residential Adjunct Faculty member at Liberty University School of Law, where he teaches while serving as a full-time prosecutor with the Lynchburg Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. He has been an Adjunct Professor since January 2025, focusing on prosecutorial practice in violent crime, firearms offenses, and drug/child pornography cases.

His professional experience includes roles as Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Danville (2018–2021), Fairfax (2021–2022), and Lynchburg (2022–present). During law school, he served as law school chaplain, chaired the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team, and supervised the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic.
