Nathalie Nguyen

Professor Nathalie Nguyen is a leading scholar specializing in the Vietnamese diaspora, refugees, and the Vietnam War's impact. Affiliated with Monash University's School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies and former Director of the National Centre for Australian Studies, she holds a B.A. (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and a D.Phil. from Oxford.

Her research focuses on memory, war, migration, and oral history projects. Key works include South Vietnamese Soldiers: Memories of the Vietnam War and After and the Routledge Handbook of the Vietnamese Diaspora.
