Nathalie M. Cooke is a Professor of Literature at McGill University’s Faculty of Arts, specializing in Canadian literature, women’s life writing, and food studies. Her research bridges archival investigation with contemporary cultural analysis, focusing on how textual artifacts—from cookbooks to Victorian newspaper ads—reflect societal changes. She is a co-editor of *Canadian Literary Fare* (Gabrielle Roy Prize winner, 2023) and founder of *Cuizine: The Journal of Canadian Food Cultures*.
Education includes a PhD from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from Cornell, and a B.A. from Queen’s University. Her work spans Canadian literary biography, culinary history, and the intersection of food with identity and communication.
