Nathalie Labrecque is a Full Professor at the University of Montreal within the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Medicine and Medical Specialties, affiliated with the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center. Her work focuses on molecular immunology, particularly CD8+ T cell differentiation and the role of the NR4A3 nuclear receptor in immune regulation.
Her research explores the interplay between Notch signaling and circadian clock mechanisms in adaptive immunity, with recent articles highlighting applications in immunotherapy and COVID-19 surgical protocols. Key trends include chronobiology in vaccination, NR4A3 transcriptional control, and lymphocyte fate mapping.
Scientific Distinctions:
- 2021 Canadian Society for Immunology Researcher Award
- 2014-2015 Professor of the Year, University of Montreal
- 2008-2011 FRQS Senior Research Fellow
- 2002-2007 CIHR Investigator
- 1997-1999 NRC Centennial Scholarship
Her lab team includes doctoral and Master's students working on T cell biology, with techniques spanning RNA-seq, ChIP, and in vivo imaging.
