Martin Guimond

Martin Guimond is a researcher affiliated with the University of Montreal in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and Immunology. He works at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center and is a member of the CRHMR (Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont).

• Current teaching includes courses in immunology (MCB-2985, MCB-2991) for biological sciences and biomedical programs
• Supervised 6 graduate students (5 Master’s, 3 Doctoral) in T cell homeostasis, GVHD, and IL-7 research

Research Focus: Development of pre-clinical models for immune reconstitution in lymphopenic subjects, with emphasis on graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and interleukin signaling pathways.

• 2021-2023: EGFL7 effects on GVHD and graft-versus-leukemia (LLS Canada & SRC funding)
• 2019-2021: Post-transplant immune restoration (SRC funding)
• 2015-2017: SDF-1a therapeutic potential in GVHD (SRC funding)
• 2009-2015: CD4+ T cell regulation in lymphopenia (CIHR funding)
