Nathalie Bot is a Lecturer and Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Global Health at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Medicine, affiliated with the Institute of Global Health. She holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2006) from the University of Geneva and previously conducted research on breast cancer proliferation and neurobiology at EPFL. Her current work focuses on implementing personalized medicine in oncology using ethnographic methods to analyze practices and challenges in precision oncology. She supervises third-year medical students’ community health projects and MAS Public Health students. Her research bridges molecular biology, global health policy, and clinical practice.
Education: PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2006, University of Geneva); Science Faculty of Geneva undergraduate degree.
Research Interests: Personalized medicine implementation, oncology, molecular biology, neurobiology, and public health policy. Her ethnographic approach examines healthcare systems and interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical settings.
Labs/Teams: Active member of the Institute of Global Health, collaborating on precision oncology and global health initiatives.
