Nathalie Bergame

Nathalie Bergame serves as a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology within the Division of Science, Technology and Society. She is currently engaged in the Nordforsk-funded project "Energy Lives! Infrastructural Citizenship in Nordic Energy Transitions" alongside Anna Åberg and Saara Matala, investigating how energy infrastructures become embodied in everyday life through feminist methodologies like collective biographies.

Her research critically examines dialectical social transformation with emphases on emancipatory collective processes, embodiment of change, and urban gardening as sites of resistance. Working at the intersection of sociology and geography, she analyzes contradictions in patriarchal capitalist urbanization while developing frameworks for understanding commoning practices and gendered social reproduction. Her methodological approach integrates feminist theory with critical analysis of energy transitions and infrastructural citizenship.
