Natasha Thompson

Natasha Thompson is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Veterinary Compounding Pharmacist at the University of Kentucky's College of Pharmacy, specializing in Pharmacy Practice & Science. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky (2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Biology minor from Transylvania University (2011), where she graduated magna cum laude and founded The Pre-Pharmacy Club.

Her research focuses on Veterinary Pharmacy, Compounding Pharmacy, and Immunizations, with a particular emphasis on pharmacological interventions in canine health. She has contributed continuing education (CE) articles to the Kentucky Pharmacists Association (KPhA) and presented at its annual conferences.

Natasha teaches her constructed course, The Practice of Veterinary Pharmacy, since Fall 2022, and advises students interested in veterinary medicine. Her professional experience includes over a decade in retail pharmacy and ongoing work at Wickliffe Veterinary Pharmacy.
