Natasha Price

Natasha Price is a Lecturer in the Nursing Division at Queen Margaret University (QMU). With over 20 years of experience in adult acute/critical care, community nursing, and public health, she holds NMC registrations as an adult nurse, adult nurse specialist, specialist community public health nurse, and nurse prescriber/teacher. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

• Education: Graduated from QMU with a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) qualification in 2011.

Research interests include therapeutic relationship-building with vulnerable families, exposure-dependent neurodevelopment, and the impact of traumatic experiences. Teaching focuses on biosciences, neurobiology, social development, and public health within the undergraduate nursing program. She contributed to clinical education programs at NHS Lothian and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Awarded the Spire Award for Postgraduate Research in 2018/19.
