Alison Wood

Dr Alison Wood is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for Healthcare Professionals at Queen Margaret University (QMU) and NHS Lothian. With a clinical background in haemodialysis and renal medicine, she bridges academic research and clinical practice through the Clinical and Academic Homes scheme. Her work focuses on person-centered nursing, bioscience education, and advanced clinical practice.
