Natasha Lee is a Research Fellow and PhD Candidate at the University of Queensland Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and the Faculty of Medicine. She is a Mualgal (Torres Strait), Yidinji, Kullilli, and Dunghutti woman with expertise in Indigenous public health, community engagement, and policy co-design. Her work spans tertiary education, health research institutes, Indigenous community-controlled health sectors, and public service.

Lee's research focuses on Indigenous health equity, cultural competency in public health frameworks, and community-led health interventions. Her current PhD project explores Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Professionals' knowledge and understandings of Indigenous Public Health, supervised by A/Prof Lisa Fitzgerald, Prof Chelsea Watego, and Dr Bryan Mukandi.
Her publications emphasize health disparities, self-collection methods in cervical screening, and reflections on Indigenous public health education. Lee's professional experience includes project management, health research, and national policy design for Indigenous program delivery.
