Natasha Baker is a NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow and Research Fellow at King’s College London, affiliated with the Department of Health Service & Population Research within the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences. She holds dual roles as a Senior Clinical Research Midwife and researcher, focusing on women’s mental health during the transition to parenthood. Her work integrates clinical practice with academic research to address gaps in infant feeding support for mothers with severe mental illness.
Education:

Research interests include maternal mental health policy, infant feeding challenges faced by mothers with severe mental illness, and midwives' perspectives on mental health assessment during pregnancy. Her current PhD fellowship investigates infant feeding practices within this population under the supervision of Prof. Ioannis Bakolis and Dr. Claire Wilson.
