Natalie Loper is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Director of the First-Year Writing Program at The University of Alabama. She holds a PhD in English from the Hudson Strode Program in Renaissance Studies, specializing in Shakespeare, film adaptations, and pedagogy. Her research explores topics such as teen films, adaptation theory, and Renaissance literature. Loper oversees online writing courses and trains graduate student instructors. She has received awards for service excellence and innovation in education.
