Latteri’s research focuses on interfaith relations in medieval Europe, particularly Jewish-Christian interactions through apocalyptic and polemical texts. Her work explores themes of messianism, hauntings, possession, and gender/sexuality in religious writings, analyzing the Toledot Yeshu tradition, Christian apocrypha, and medieval recensions of apocalyptic narratives.
Her recent publications examine the historiography of Jewish apocalypticism (2016), comparative analyses of Antichrist narratives in Jewish and Christian texts (2017), and gendered interpretations of biblical typology in apocalyptic literature (2016). These works span disciplines including Religious Studies, Gender Studies, and Medieval History.
