Natalia McGough is a Lecturer in Saxophone at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), where she teaches within the Wind, Brass & Percussion department. She holds dual Master of Arts degrees from the Karol Szymanowski Academy (Katowice) and the Royal Academy of Music (Aarhus), specializing in pedagogy and saxophone performance. Her professional roles include representing Ireland as a member of the Irish Defence Forces School of Music and freelancing with renowned orchestras such as the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra and Concert Orchestra, as well as international productions like 'Riverdance.'
Her career spans solo performances across Ireland, the UK, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, and Ibiza. In 2021, she was scheduled to represent Ireland at the World Saxophone Congress in Japan. Natalia’s accolades include a First Prize and Recital Finalist distinction from the Royal Academy of Music (Aarhus).
Her teaching focuses on saxophone performance and music pedagogy, complemented by active participation in chamber music ensembles and orchestral collaborations. She balances academic responsibilities with a dynamic performance schedule, emphasizing contemporary and classical repertoire.
