Dr Nasreen Gul serves as a University Teacher in Marketing at the University of Sheffield's Management School, holding this position since her September 2018 appointment after teaching at the institution since 2011. Based in Room D024 of the Sheffield University Management School on Conduit Road, she operates within the Marketing and Creative & Cultural Industries division.
Her academic foundation includes a doctorate and Master's in Marketing from the University of Salford (awarded 2002), with doctoral research examining International Joint Ventures within the European Union. Prior to Sheffield, she taught Marketing and International Marketing at Leeds Metropolitan University and Sheffield Hallam University.
Nasreen's research profile centers on Marketing with specialized focus areas including International Marketing, Sustainability, Technological Transformation, and Inclusivity, evidenced by her active membership in the Behavioural Research for Inclusivity, Sustainability and Technological Transformation (BRISTT) research group. Her scholarly work explores the intersection of these themes within contemporary marketing contexts.
She currently leads the 'Essentials of Marketing' module while supervising MSc dissertations, delivering comprehensive instruction across three undergraduate modules (International Marketing MGT382, Management Themes and Perspectives MGT136, Essentials of Marketing MGT233) and four postgraduate modules (Global Marketing MGT6073, Marketing MGT6045, Contemporary Marketing MGT6180, Marketing Research MGT6250).
