Naomi Sweeting is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Mathematics at Princeton University, currently holding an NSF postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Chris Skinner. She will join MIT as an Assistant Professor starting Fall 2026.
Her research focuses on number theory, including the Bloch-Kato conjectures, automorphic forms, and special cycles on Shimura varieties. She explores these areas through the lens of algebraic geometry and arithmetic geometry.
Dr. Sweeting completed her doctoral studies under Mark Kisin at Harvard University. She can be contacted via naomiss@princeton.edu or naomiss@math.princeton.edu.
