Avi Zeff is a Lecturer and RTG Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, appointed in 2025. His research focuses on number theory and arithmetic geometry, particularly the Langlands program, Kudla's program, and special cycles.

- Number Theory: Modularity, automorphic forms, and L-functions
- Arithmetic Geometry: Special cycles, p-adic geometry
- Algebraic Geometry: Shimura varieties, geometric aspects of Langlands
