Naomi Cousins is a Lecturer at Leeds Law School, Leeds Beckett University. She joined in September 2023 following the submission of her PhD thesis titled 'Experience of Online Advice Seeking in Child Arrangement Applications Post-LASPO' at the University of Manchester. Her academic background includes a BA and Postgraduate Certificate in History (University of Manchester) and an MA in Law (University of Law).
Teaching focuses include Child Law, Family Law, Property Law, and Public Law. Research interests center on Legal Aid, Access to Justice, and the evolving role of legal professionals. She contributed evidence to the House of Commons Justice Select Committee’s inquiry into The Future of Legal Aid and participated in a related roundtable discussion.
