Dr. Naomi Benne is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Biomolecular Health Sciences, Utrecht University. Her research focuses on Nanomedicine for vaccine delivery and immune modulation in autoimmune/infectious diseases.
- Develops Nanoparticles for targeted Protein/Nucleic Acid Delivery
- Expert in Flow Cytometry and Autoimmunity research
- Supervises PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s theses in Veterinary Medicine
Research Interests center on liposomal vaccines, antigen-specific immune tolerance, and dendritic cell modulation. Her work bridges nanotechnology with immunology to create precision therapies for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Atherosclerosis, and Cancer.
