Nancy Vargas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Sciences at Western Oregon University (WOU). She holds a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from UC Riverside, a Master’s in Education from UC Fullerton, and is a PhD Candidate in Public Health at Oregon State University. Her work focuses on reducing health and educational inequities through community-driven initiatives.
