Nan Li is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural Education & Communications, Texas Tech University. She joined the faculty in August 2016 after serving as a Joan Bossert Postdoctoral Fellow at the Annenberg Public Policy Center, University of Pennsylvania. Her work bridges strategic communication, science, agriculture, and public policy, with publications in multidisciplinary journals such as the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Journal of Risk Research, and Climatic Change. She has taught courses including ACOM 2302 Scientific Communication in Agriculture, ACOM 4305 Agricultural Communications Campaigns, and ACOM 5304 Risk and Crisis Communication.

At Texas Tech, Dr. Li plays an active role in student mentorship as a co-advisor for the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow chapter, guiding students in professional development and communication strategies.
