Najeeb T. Haddad serves as Department Chair and Assistant Professor in the Religious Studies Department at Notre Dame of Maryland University’s School of Arts, Sciences & Business. He holds a Ph.D. in New Testament and Early Christianity from Loyola University Chicago (2018), an M.A. in Biblical Languages and Literature (2013), and a B.A. in Religious Studies and Philosophy (2011, Magna cum laude).

Haddad’s recent works include books on Paul and Empire (2021), Empire Criticism (2023), and anticipated 2025–2026 projects on Genesis interpretation and Orthodox theological frameworks. His 2023–2022 articles address New Creation in Pauline letters, Philippians’ ethical rhetoric, and political theology in Romans.
