Nadine Mastroleo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Binghamton University. Her research focuses on evaluating brief alcohol interventions for college students, emergency department patients, and student-athletes. She completed her PhD in Counselor Education from Penn State University (2008) and postdoctoral training at Brown University, where she also served as an Assistant Professor (Research) from 2010-2015. Dr. Mastroleo's work emphasizes understanding mechanisms of behavior change through within-session intervention analysis.
Key research areas include multi-risk behavioral interventions, pain-related alcohol-cannabis co-use among emerging adults, and implementation science in healthcare settings.
