Nadine Housri

Nadine Housri, MD is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine. Her clinical focus centers on thoracic oncology and stereotactic radiosurgery, with extensive research in lung cancer treatment and radiation therapy techniques.

Dr. Housri earned her MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2009, completed her residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2014, and finished her fellowship at Yale School of Medicine in 2015.

Her primary research interests include thoracic radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for lung cancer, radiation pneumonitis and esophagitis prevention, and developing innovative platforms for knowledge sharing among oncology professionals. Dr. Housri has made significant contributions to understanding dose-volume relationships in thoracic hypofractionated radiotherapy and optimizing treatment for lung cancer patients.

Dr. Housri's publication record demonstrates a strong focus on improving outcomes for lung cancer patients through precise radiation therapy techniques. Her work examines dose escalation strategies, management of oligometastatic disease, and predictors of radiation toxicity. She has also pioneered research on digital platforms for medical knowledge exchange, reflecting her commitment to bridging gaps between experts and community practitioners.
