Nadine Fröhlich is a Researcher at the Department of Classical Philology, Georg-August-University Göttingen, with a focus on Latin and Greek literature. She holds an MA in "Cultures and Languages of the Mediterranean Region" (2022) and an M.Ed. in Latin, German, and Greek (2021) from the same institution.
Her research interests include classical philology, Latin and Greek literature, translation studies, and the reception of ancient texts in Renaissance Italy. She serves as an academic advisor (Fachstudienberatung) and works on projects related to the Latin translation of the Batrachomyomachia by Carlo Marsuppini.
Fröhlich's publications primarily involve lexicographical contributions to the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae (TLL) and analyses of classical reception in humanist Italy. She is currently translating Giovanni Pascoli's Latin poems into German.
