Nadia Urosevic is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the School of Biomedical Sciences, The University of Western Australia, with additional appointments in the UWA Medical School and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine department. Her research focuses on microbiology, immunology, and virology with particular expertise in flavivirus research, blood culture diagnostics, and sepsis management.
Dr. Urosevic holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, an MSc in Biochemistry, and a BSc in Physiology and Molecular Biology all from the University of Belgrade. Her educational background has provided a strong foundation for her interdisciplinary research spanning microbiology, immunology, and medical diagnostics.
Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics including Flavivirus (100% of her research fingerprint), Virus (67%), Murray Valley Encephalitis Virus (48%), Chromosome 5 (38%), Lipid Metabolism (32%), Mouse Strain (27%), Congenic (24%), and Infectious Agent (21%).
