Nadia Streletskaya is an Associate Professor in the Applied Economics Department at Oregon State University, within the College of Agricultural Sciences. She serves as Director of the Applied Experimental Economics Lab (AEELab) and is a CBEAR Fellow at the University of Delaware and Johns Hopkins University. Her research focuses on consumer behavior, behavioral economics, food labeling, and marketing strategies. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University (2016).
Her work examines topics such as clean label trade-offs, consumer preferences for fortified snacks, and the impact of information on food demand. Notable awards include the 2016 AAEA Student Paper Competition and the 2014 George F. Warren Award. Streletskaya mentors several graduate students and has secured grants totaling over $500,000 for research projects. She teaches courses in behavioral economics, microeconomic theory, and agricultural marketing. Her lab explores decision-making in areas like inequality perception, tax policies, and consumer choices in wine markets.
