Nadia S. Larsen

Nadia S. Larsen is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Oslo, specializing in Operator Algebras and related fields. Her research spans C*-algebras, semigroups, KMS states, and applications to quantum computing and many-body theory.

• Education: MSc (1994) and PhD (2000) in Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen

Her work explores C*-algebras associated with semigroups, spectral triples for noncommutative solenoids, and gauge actions on k-graph algebras. Recent collaborations include projects in quantum chemistry and higher-rank graphs.

She serves as Section Leader for Several Complex Variables, Logic, and Operator Algebras (2025–2028) and has held editorial roles with the London Mathematical Society and Publicacions Matemàtiques.
