Nadia Myre

Nadia Myre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Studio Arts at Concordia University. A member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishnabeg First Nation and nationally renowned interdisciplinary artist, her work interrogates themes of Indigenous resistance, resilience, cultural continuity, and decolonization through sculpture, fibres, photography, video, installation, beadwork, and performance art.

Her practice spans sculpture, fibres and material practice, photography, video, and performance art. She teaches in the undergraduate ArtX cluster and MFA Studio classes.
